Ananya Singh filed complaint against Livpure Smart Water Purifier on Feb 2, 2026
I subscribed to livpure smart RO purifier service and was using it since last year (****). I was not available at the residence where the purifier was installed for * months from October **** to December ****. The last recharge I did was valid till **th October ****. When I returned to the premise on *th January ****, I recharged my RO purifier for * months for **** Rs approximately, and used it for a week. On **th January ****, the purifier stopped working. I contacted livpure customer care support asking them the reason why my RO stopped working to which they replied since you were unavailable for * months, your machine validity expired and therefore, the amount you paid has been applied toward the blackout period when you were unavailable on the premises. I requested documentation on the terms and conditions, which states that these are the recharging rules. To which he shared an FAQ which does not justify the transaction they deducted from my account. Moving forward, they said a minimum validity amount needs to be paid when you are not on the premises and not using the RO machine. When I asked to share documentation for that there was no reply. I understood they were just trying to harass me into paying more money for recharge to use the purifier. So I refused to pay more money and then raised ticket for subscription cancellation on the email and their phone application. There was no response on mail and my ticket on the application was closed without resolution. When I escalated the issue on their customer support number regarding cancellation and machine pickup they did not respond meanwhile continuously harassing me with automated calls ans whatsapp messages to recharge the RO purifier. Today, on *nd Feb ****, when I have sent multiple mails and called multiple times on customer support, they first harassed me with questions like why I want to discontinue my service to which I replied I am not satisfied with the service and just want you to pick up the machine from my residence. Then they harassed me saying why are you cancelling the subscription, don’t cancel we are here to help. They literally started begging me and continuously repeated the phrase we/I am here to help to which I replied I don’t want your help I just need to cancel my subscription, pick up the product from my house and return my security deposit which is ****. Then they very aggressively said that Rs*** would be deducted from your deposit since your account is in negative since **th January ****. To which I said that I already raised the cancellation request from my end and there is delay from your end, so why am I going to pay for your delay. The representative again started quoting that we have it in our terms and conditions. I again requested for the terms and condition link, which he failed to share. And still there is no update of when the machine will be picked up from my residence. Hence I am here raising a complaint against this harassment and they are trying to mar my everyday life by continuously calling me and texting me which has taken its toll on my mental health.
I am attaching all the call logs, chat logs, call recordings, unresponsive mails, cancellation ticket screenshot everything. I just want them to cancel the subscription and return the security deposit refund.
