Ubereats - Charged twice

I placed an order worth about five hundred bucks. The oder was delivered on time and the payment was made. Apparently, the delivery partner forgot to swipe 'paid' on his device. (I'd called him up to make sure he'd swiped 'paid' and he said he had). The order got cancelled without a refund. Meaning, my account was due five hundred bucks and I could not avail any Uber service until I paid the amount.
I got in touch with the UberEats support and they resolved the issue. They called it a one time exception of clearing dues, making it sound like my fault somehow.
*) I made a second order worth the same amount. Same problem after the order. The amount was paid. Food was delivered. But the delivery partner probably did not swipe 'paid'. I tried to get in touch with the Support again. But now, they're again making it sound like my fault and refusing to clear the due. I am not going to pay them twice for the food I already paid for.
