Mehul Parkhiya filed complaint against Make My Trip on May 4, 2023
I have booked * Family Premium Rooms at Delhi Mahipalpur through Make My Trip for me and my couligues * familes at the rate of Rs. **** Rs. per Room and pay Total amount of Rs. ***** for Premilum Triple sharing bed.When I reach to Delhi at late night ** PM, Hotel management alloted me * Basic rooms (rooms were too small), so talked with hotel reception regarding my booking and room alloted to me, I also show them that the rooms which are alloted to me is currenly available in make my trip at Rs. **** (Including Breakfast and all taxes), but I have paid Rs. **** Rs. for each room (I booked premium room but they allot me basic room), but they told me that we have no premium room which we booked for you, So I told management to refund my booking amount and I will rent another hotel, so management staff talked with their superior and told us that please don't leave the hotel, Our online manager will give back you diff. amount after cancellation online at morning *.** am when he will reach at hotel.
Next day morning the hotel manager refuse to pay the diff. amount and told us that you can complaint anywhere, so we told the same to Make my Trip (I also told them that I am checking out the hotel as Our flight time is scheduled at **.** and we have to board before **.**), after half an hour we again talekd with Make my trip and amazingly they told me that we have mailed hotel for this issue, If hotel will allow then we will refund you diff. amount (while hotel management refuse to pay diff. amount), after another half an hour we again taleked with Make my Trip Customer care and they told us to send the Pics of the room which was alloted to us, we mail them the pics of room which was alloted to us. They told me to give them some time to resolve the issue, when till **.** there was no response from MMT we check out the hotel.
After one day (today) morning I again Contact to Make my Trip regarding the issue, they told me that they can provide me **** Rs. Cash back and Rs. **** Voucher (with conditions apply) I told them that I already paid Rs. ***** more than the price of rooms alloted to me, but they refused to refund Rs. ***** (which was false charged to me).
My claim is Rs. ***** for the False charge and approx ***** Rs. for Mental harrasment of * Families.
Please Note : The hotel has changed the name of Hotel (At location the name of Hotel is “Pruthvi Palace” but in MMT it is named as “Park Tree” (may be some Taxation fraud there)
