IRCTC Ltd - Charge extra money

I booked two *Ac tickets from the railway reservation centre.The total fare on the tickets was ₹**** but they asked for₹****. And when I asked about the extra ₹**they said it is the booking charge for AC tickets. They took ₹**extra per ticket in the name of charges.
