GO IBIBO - Cancellation Of Trip Still Refund Not Processed

Dear Voxya Team,

I am filing this complaint against GoIbibo and Ibis Styles Phuket City regarding my recent hotel booking, which could not be availed due to genuine medical reasons.

My wife, Mrs. Dakshika Malhotra, who is in her third month of pregnancy, was declared unfit to travel by her doctor. I have attached the medical certificate as proof. Despite clearly explaining our situation and sharing all relevant documents, neither the hotel nor GoIbibo has responded appropriately.

When I tried contacting the Ibis Styles Phuket City hotel directly, the staff behaved rudely and unprofessionally. They showed no empathy or cooperation, and even after several reminders, I received no response from either the hotel or GoIbibo. I also attempted to speak with the hotel manager, but that too was unsuccessful.

This entire experience has caused significant stress and inconvenience. It is disappointing that despite medical documentation and multiple follow-ups, GoIbibo has failed to process the refund or offer any resolution.

Therefore, I request Voxya’s assistance in taking up this matter with GoIbibo and Ibis Styles Phuket City to ensure that a full refund is issued at the earliest and appropriate action is taken against the unprofessional conduct of the hotel staff.
