I had booked my Dubai package with Make My Trip in the month of November ****. My travel dates were **-Dec-**** to **-Dec-****. I had to cancel my trip due to a sports injury I had on **-Dec-****. I had to undergo surgery after an MRI scan taken on **-Dec-****. My surgery was on Saturday, **-Dec-**** at the specialist hospital, Bangalore. It was tendon tear and surgery (Tendon Repair) was the only solution. I was advised to take complete rest for at least * months. The complete recovery time for this injury would be * months as per the doctors. Due to this I had to cancel my trip in the last minute and informed Make My Trip agent on **-Dec-****. They had to come up with a resolution within **-** days but only after following-up * times in ** days. I get a response that they will refund only Rs. **** which I have not received until now. However, I am expecting at least **-**% refund because this was a medical emergency. There has been no help at all from the team at Make My Trip. I have tried calling them several times and sent many emails but I am always told the concern team/person will call me back but nothing happens. It's really hard to digest that I will be loosing more than * lakhs from my hardened money for a dream trip which never happened. I am attaching my MRI report.
