Make My Trip - Booking declined by hotel in Phuket, inaction in finding alternate accommodation by MMT

I had booked a package for Krabi and Phuket with MMT, but when I reached Phuket on **th Feb, ****, my reservation was declined by the hotel and there was no useful response from the logistics team (Rajeev Ranjan, Gaurav, Ravi Ranjan, Deepika Panchal and Akhilesh Bhavsar) just routing our calls from one person to another. Me along with my entire family, consisting of my elderly parents and a * year old, were stranded on a foreign country with no accommodation. When we didn't receive any help from MMT we had to look for something ourselves and after much difficulty found a sub par place. Now, MMT's customer delight's officer (Mr. Harinder Singh) comes into the scene after deliberately not finding us an alternate accommodation as it would be easier to try and compensate us later for the amount we paid at the hotel. The person was very rude and had no regard for the trouble we had faced.

Even after we returned, there has been no transparency in informing us about the amount of compensation we are entitled to for all the mental trouble and harassment we had to face at the hands of MMT. After multiple complaints and escalations on MMT's site, there has been no response and this issue has been sitting with the customer service for * months and counting. Testament to how important customers are for MMT.
