Hi,
I had contacted Airtel for Airtel Xstream Fiber connection on **th Jun ****. After the call within few minutes I got a call from Jeevan(Airtel Representative) contact no +** **********....he came to my house in Kondapur, Hyderabad and said that he can provide me connection in the next hour ..he asked me to provide my aadhar for KYC and shared a link to pay Rs ****.** for Airtel XStream Fiber connection. I paid the amount vide Acquisition cart id *-BBFL*ZC and order id ******************* in good faith and was feeling really good for the swift service.
The representative, Jeevan then called me after an hour and said that there is some issue and they will definitely provide the connection the next day. On **th morning, Jeevan gave me a call asked for OTP pin from Airtel, I gave the pin to him. Post that there was no response till noon. Later in the afternoon he called me up and said as the Airtel XStream Fiber speed in my area is very less he willnot install and will initiate refund. I was ok with that and asked him by when will I get my amount back. He mentioned within ** days I should get the amount in my bank account.
I connected with Jeevan after ** days he mentioned that refund has been initiated already and to give him * more days.
Post * days I tried calling him he is not reachable, neither call center representative are helpful. I went to Airtel Store today to complain....but they said the details are not available to them as transaction was initiated by field representative.
Airtel should take responsibility for their field representatives who misguide customers to pay for Airtel Xstream fiber and later doesnot install and neither refund the money. Strict action should be taken on Jeevan
