I am writing this email out of sheer frustration and disappointment with the appalling service and complete lack of accountability shown by your company and its representatives.
My Revolt electric bike began facing battery charging and starting issues on *th August ****. I promptly contacted the nearest service center—Revolt Bhadrak Hub—and was instructed to tow the vehicle to their showroom at my own expense, which I did on **th August.
On that day, your service engineer claimed the issue was a minor fuse problem, supposedly resolved. I paid Rs. **** in service charges and brought the bike home the next day. Shockingly, the exact same issue resurfaced immediately—the bike wouldn’t charge or start.
I contacted the service center again on **th August, but they ignored my calls. After multiple attempts, I reached out to Revolt Consumer Care, who connected me back to the same service center. This time, I was given a ridiculous excuse: the engineer was new and untrained, and Revolt Motors was allegedly not supporting their service centers, leading to closures and rumors of your company shutting down. They made it clear they were not interested in helping further.
After persistent follow-ups, I was again asked to tow the vehicle—once more at my own cost—to the service center on **th August. Since then, my bike has been sitting there unrepaired, and now your team is pressuring me to take it to another service center in Balasore or Cuttack, both of which are inconveniently far from my location.
Let me be absolutely clear: I have already incurred Rs. **** in towing charges alone, not to mention the time, stress, and energy wasted chasing a resolution for a problem that should have been fixed on day one. And yet, the issue remains unresolved.
To make matters worse, it has now been close to two years since I purchased the bike, and I have still not received the registration certificate (RC). All payments were made in full before the purchase, and there is absolutely no justification for this delay.
Adding to this list of failures, I have not received the government subsidy that was promised to be credited within *–* months of purchase. I contacted the Bhubaneswar showroom multiple times regarding this, and now they are claiming that they have shut down and cannot help in any way. This is a blatant breach of commitment and further proof of Revolt Motors’ complete disregard for its customers.
Service center’s incompetence, lack of communication, and refusal to take responsibility are unacceptable.
Today on **th Sep **, when my wife visited showroom to enquire about the bike it was not in good condition and was not starting as well. Then the owner alongwith their staff have abused my wife and threatened to charge Rs. ***** to handover our bike.
They also said that they won't give any document that we are taking it from showroom and threatened to do something wrong to us and the bike. Bike is still in their custody and they are not releasing the same where we can take it to some other showroom to get it repaired. I even doubt they might have changed parts of my bike due to which they are not giving us any document.
