Reliance jio - Advance rental paid twice for a single connection

I had taken this connection with fixed voice number ********** and made the payment for * months in advance for the Rs*** plan. This connection was taken in my wife's name as mentioned above. Later I realized that the LPG connection and other bank documents are registered in my name. So I contacted person who had taken the KYC for my wife and enquired whether the connection which I had taken in my wife's name could be canceled. He advised me that it could be done and the whole amount paid which was Rs**** +Rs**** = Rs **** would be refunded.

Hence I took the connection in my name paying the above amount of Rs**** again. So I want the above connection in my wife's name to be canceled and the amount of Rs **** be refunded. My connection will be active. The information that the full amount would be refunded was given by your executive Vishwanath and his phone number is **********. I wanted my computer also to have the WIFI connection and hence I requested him but he said we will have to pay extra for the LAN wire.

am a new customer and my experience of taking the JIO connection is not so good. In fact I am disappointed with the service I received. Hope this will not be repeated going forward.

I request your good selves to check into the case and help me with the refund at an early date as it is already a week since it was requested earlier.

I had sent the above email to Jio and the reply I received from them is as below

Dear Ravi,



I am disheartened to know that you want to disconnect your JioFiber connection.



I can see that your request for cancellation is already in process, with service request number SR*****ZUNXQ. It will be resolved by ** July, ****; **:** Hrs.



I have sent you an SMS regarding the cancellation process on your RMN (Registered Mobile Number).

Since you have committed to an advance rental plan, we have not charged you any additional security deposit or installation charges. Hence, there is no refund applicable if you disconnect before the committed period.

Only security deposit (If paid) is refundable.

Appreciate your patience and understanding in this concern.

In case you need any further assistance kindly write back to us. Assuring you of our best possible services at all times.
