I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction and to formally lodge a complaint against the management of the Tanishq Bund Garden Road store, specifically Store Manager Mr. Madhukar Bhosale and Floor Manager Mr. Pravin, for their unprofessional conduct and the imposition of arbitrary, misleading policies during my visit today.
Incident Report:
I visited the store to process a gold cash-back as per the terms of my purchase. However, the experience was marked by a series of contradictory and baseless excuses regarding the immediate payout:
Misleading Claims: The managers initially refused immediate payment by falsely citing a "Government of India policy."
Inconsistency: When questioned, the narrative shifted to an "RBI policy," and finally, they admitted it was merely an internal "Store Policy."
Customer Harassment: This "lenient" and dismissive attitude from Mr. Bhosale and Mr. Pravin is a clear attempt to delay a legitimate financial transaction and trouble a long-standing customer.
Legal Violation:
Changing rules on the spot to avoid a payout constitutes a restrictive trade practice and a deficiency in service under the Consumer Protection Act, ****. Using the name of the Government of India or the RBI to validate internal store delays is not only unethical but legally actionable.
Demand for Action:
I demand the following:
Immediate Payout: The cash-back amount must be settled immediately without further bureaucratic delay.
Written Apology: A formal apology from the store management for providing misleading information regarding national financial policies.
Strict Disciplinary Action: I expect Titan Company Ltd. to take strict internal action against Mr. Madhukar Bhosale and Mr. Pravin for practicing unfair trade norms that tarnish the brand's reputation.
Be advised that if this matter is not resolved within ** hours, I will be filing a formal petition with the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Pune, and escalating this on social media platforms to alert other consumers of these deceptive practices.
I expect a prompt response.
