I have always considered Flipkart as a company that considers its customers as assets and hence hold them in esteem regards. Being a Flipkart loyal customer since a very long time, I have developed a sense of trust in the organization.
However, what happened today was sheer disrespect from flipkart towards its customers and was unethical in every aspect. I had ordered LENOVO IDEAPAD C*** MODEL NUMBER **TK**GRIN with Intel i* **th generation configuration as you can see in my order history. I had paid the whole amount to flipkart considering the trust I had for the organization and the belief that they will deliver the same product in perfect condition in minimal delivery time. However to my dismal what I received in the parcel was a completely different product from Lenovo with older configuration i*. Thankfully, I have been fortunate enough in regard that I had to gift this laptop to my sister for her birthday and before gifting, I have noticed that this is a wrong product and is not what I ordered. I want to ask the flipkart logistics team that is it that difficult to confirm product before delivering it to someone's place. Is it not unethical and unprofessional on flipkart behalf that you people have taken money in advance for a product and then deliver a completely different product with entirely different configuration?
You people replacing the product with the actual ordered one will not help restore the trust that has been lost today from an old customer.
I would like you to please pick up this wrong laptop from my place at the earliest and deliver what had been ordered at the earliest.
Along with that, I would expect an apology and assurance that such thing shall not be repeated in the future. I also expect that your organization shall act in a proactive manner by doing needful investigation in what went wrong that such a blunder has taken place
