This is an incident from the bajaj finance collections team at baroda.
The respective abusers from the collections team are
Alpha V (Name mentioned as per true caller)
Hasmukh Dabhi (Name as per true caller)
Hasmukh dabhi had approached me through dhruv thakkars reference (he is not in bajaj finserv anymore)
Dhruv thakkar reached out for a health insurance policy from aditya birla for my wife a few years ago and verbally promised that the premium amount will never increase till the policy term.
I got convinced and brought the policy.
After one year the premium increased as per Aditya birla and bajaj finserv policy and then i was called by Bajaj finserv on my phone for renewal * months before the premium expiry date. I told them that I would be making the full payment during the grace period. They asked me about making the payment in interest free EMI for which i refused.
However, hasmukh dhabi called me and told me that he is sharing a link just for verification.
I said sure, little did i know that it was the payment confirmation link for converting the insurance into emi which i did not want.
I was shocked and called bajaj finserv for this issue and also hasmukh and blatantly told him i did not want to convert into emi then why didnt you inform me.
He arrogantly said that it is now confirmed without an apology.
I forgot this incident once and thought that fine it is a one time incident.
The heights broke loose when I missed one payment of the insurance emi because of a lot of financial problems and medical problems that I was facing since the last * months.
I have a few loans from other NBFCs and banks and have raraly missed any payments from them in the last * years. I also have a good credit score.
I have never missed a payment of bajaj finserv as well.
During my crisis time, the banks and NBfc's understood my issue and created easy payment plans or partial payments for solving my problems.
But bajaj finserv is a loan shark who threatens and abuses you for one missed payment.
I was getting crazy collection calls on a daily basis from bajaj asking for payment. I had also mailed them regarding my issue and called them as well but it went to deaf ears.
I had high blood pressure and mental trauma because of bajaj finserv.
First time Alpha V directly called me on my phone which i ignore. Then he sent messages in gujarati langauge and told me that why I am not making the payment.
I told him about my issues and he said no matter what your story is you will have to make the payment in the due date.
Mind you this is ** days past due collection message.
Then Mr Hasmukh called and I lashed out at him first for converting my insurance into an EMI and then uselessly calling me for the payment.
In this heated argument, I told him that If i dont make the payment then what will you do? he said, " I WILL CANCEL YOU INSURANCE POLICY"
This guy has the guts to abuse a customer who has making regular payments since the last * years and clearly his debt.
Alpha V called again and then recorded my calls. I told him in the recorded calls that According to RBI Policies you cannot push a customer to make payments if he has no money. He said I dont care about your RBI Policies and I dont care about anything, I just want my money.
I told him i will complaing to RBI. he said you can complain to the Chief of RBI, i dont care I want my money.
This is banking mafia! I was having a massive high bp and then i asked money from a friend and finally made the payment and shared the screenshot with him!
This is coming from a person who has a good cibil score. The way bajaj finserv people abuse their customers is like banking mafia.
I would want a claim of **** INR for this incident for the mental and financial loss i have suffered from this horrible company!
