I recently opened a website which offered the scholarship for **th and **th pass students. The scholarship had the name of our prime minister. Actually, it all began when someone in one of my WhatsApp group sends a shortened link to allow us to directly reach to that website. The website asked for some details and I gave mainly my name and my mobile number. Then it asked to share the link with at least * of my WhatsApp friends. So I shared * of my friends. Then it just told to click the apply button to apply for that scholarship. Later on, I felt that the site might be fake. As I have shared my mobile number I fear they might exploit using it. Even though my number is not linked to any of my bank accounts, I fear they might use this in the wrong way. So I wanted to know whether they may misuse something with my number? Will they track me?
