- Unauthorised debits done Open
I was just going through some insurance policy that was displayed in Mobikwik as an advertisement. While filling all details I came to payment step and I stopped there and did not proceed. But still, there is a debit of Rs.** on **.**.****. Again they have deducted an amount of Rs.** has been continuously debited from **.**.** to **.**.**** illegally without my consent. I have neither authorised them nor submitted debit mandate for these illegal deductions. They are telling some nonsense that some checkbox was unchecked. Whatever nonsense box it may be without my signature how can they debit an amount from my wallet? Now I want to cancel that nonsense policy. But they (Mobikwik) are asking me to contact the insurance provider and pay some charges. While it was done (illegally) through MobiKwik, why should I contact some third party? There should be some option in Mobikwik itself to cancel any policy. It is not just giving advertisement through the app and get some commission for insurance provider and forget. They (Mobikwik) should take full responsibility.
