I purchased a **' LED TV Model No DDBTVVJU**FH**XKH on **.**.**** from Glory Sons, LG-*, */***, Swadeshi Bima Nagar, Soor Sadan Crossing, MG Road, AGRA-* under *-year warranty.
The set has inbuilt D*H set top box which is not working since February *, ****. Unfortunately, none of the channels in the company (SMS / email) is responding formally to the issue. Initial complaints raised after tedious efforts were closed pre-maturely without advising the solution. On again raising the complaint (complaint number GHA**********), the company officials kept on ignoring and dodging the calls and requests of the customer. Then one fine day I was told that since the company doesn't have the part available, the company is going to replace the set. But after continuous befooling, harassing and postponing for almost *.* months, company officials informed (informally through phone only) that I'll have to bear the depreciation cost which is absolute nonsense of part of the company. When they were asked to provide complete postal address of head office of the company or at least send their response through the written / formal channel, they didn't respond which clearly shows their mala-fide intentions.
Company officials are highly unprofessional, arrogant and least concerned for any penal action. I have been mentally tortured by the company for almost *.* months and want to claim the full penalty for not only the tangible losses but also for mental agony and harassment. The company should now provide compensation for each day of delay. My son who is mentally retarded and blind is under trauma as he used to listen to aarti channel daily in morning and evening. We have been waiting for each rising sun with the expectations that the company shall treat us with empathy. But company officials are so money-minded, arrogant, shameless and now it appears that they were continuously playing with our requests.
Now after no option left, I have decided to raise the issue with the National Consumer Forum (Case Reference Docket Number ******* dated **.**.****).
But no response has been received from the company despite ** email reminders.
