- Subscription money not refunded for 2 months Open
I had paid for a subsciption on **nd Sep, but when I noticed that the delivery date is slightly longer; I had cancelled it. The money was however not refunded initially. I received multiple calls(last call on *th November) askingwhere I want my refund, and every time I confirmed that I want it in my bank account (bank account details exist with rentomojo).
Its been * months and i haven't received the refund.
On ** November, i raised a complaint against one of the products. Since it wasn't repaired to my satisfaction and the service guy said that the issue will remain forever with the brand of product I had rented, I was advised to get a replacement. When i contacted the customer care at rentomojo, I was told that the there is no replacement available and I was advised to close it and the pre-closure charges will be waived off.
The product was picked up on **th Nov and during the settlement, my earlier deposit was used up (which should have been already refunded to me).
How can my money be kept without my consent for * months (earned interest on/rotated)?
