I placed a complaint on dell support for my laptop's hardware and software issues. first, they took * days to understand the issue, and for a general heating issue, they resolved it by putting the machine online and doing some bios updates, since then my other software is not working. Besides this, the main big issue is hardware. for which I submitted photographs of the misaligned de-clipping laptop lid. online support executive analysis as broken hinge issue. putting it further to replace the same part. These whole complaints were raised on *nd June ****, but to date **th July ****, the company is just shifting the dates only but nothing happening to repair the laptop. they have not even sent a person to physically check the machine since Dell company mentioned giving onsite support. I mentioned in the initial days only that this hinge problem is getting bigger and affecting the laptop's screen display since it's a *-in-* touch screen laptop that is attached with a connection to rotate and use as a tablet. not only this, this problem has affected the laptop's speaker as well. closing opening the Lid is so difficult that I cannot carry it for work outside my desk.
in my regular updates. they send me an email of parts not available and shift the dates of repair every day. it was placed on *nd June ****, dates of repair shifted as follows
*th June **** then **th June ****, then * July ****, then *th September, and now today on **th July **** I receive an email mentioning *th November ****. * months and they can't make a part available for an everyday article i.e laptop
