I was about to place an order of few items for Diwali gifting on *th Nov. I also selected * bottles of borosil brand to gift it to my friends on Diwali. I saw that it is showing estimated delivery date of **th Nov. I took prime membership immediately just to have faster delivery of my items as it was promised in prime membership campaign that after taking prime membership I will have faster delivery than ordinary customers. So after taking membership in *** rs I placed that order which included * borosil bottles plus few other items. After placing order I started tracking it as my whole Diwali planning was depended on it. On **th Nov I saw that status showing "yet to be dispatched", I immediately wrote to Amazon requesting for faster delivery as I needed on Diwali and even took prime membership for that only. I was told that estimated delivery date is **th Nov, and I need to wait till **th, it will be delivered on or before **th. I was disappointed but somewhere in mind I was expecting it to be delivered till Diwali. On **th Nov I checked the tracking status and found again "yet to be dispatched" I wrote Amazon again and again I was told the same answer. I was in sheer stress due to the behavior of Amazon. I waited till **th but on **th also the status was showing "yet to be dispatched" it was very annoying experience then again I wrote to Amazon, this time also they asked me to wait till *pm of **th. On **th at * pm after non delivery of my borosil bottles I wrote to Amazon and asked them to refund my membership fee of *** rs. I took membership for the faster delivery but even ordinary delivery also denied to me. My plan spoiled is an irrecoverable loss for me but just to fell compensated I asked them to refund ***. I was informed that my order will be delivered very soon and due to some technical error everything happened. My point is if it was due to technical error why Amazon didn't check it when I contacted them several times. on **th nov by checking order status I came to know that one order of my bottle has been cancelled and *** rs has been refunded, I was again shocked. How my order can be cancelled without informing me? And they have refunded the discounted price but now that product is available on a very higher price. My point is that when Amazon marked the price as *** rs I ordered it, as my order was of more than ****rs I was eligible for **% more discount, now after deducting all discount if I will be given only ***, then how come I can even reorder it as the current price of the bottle is *** rs. Fault was not mine then why I will bear? I wrote to Amazon and even asked them that I don't want any refund take your *** and give me one more bottle. They cancelled it without informing and refunded the amount which is not sufficient for placing afresh order, although I had ordered it on *th to gift it on Diwali I was being denied till **th. On **th I received only * bottles I wrote again to the Amazon that either simply deliver one more bottle or refunded me that amount which would be sufficient to place afresh order. I have written Amazon so many mails and asked them to refund my membership fee and complete my order but they kept ignoring my mails. They increased the membership period by a month without my confirmation; I even informed that I don't want that poor service for an extra month. It is my humble request to you that please intervene into it and protect the rights of a consumer who was promised the benefits of a product (prime membership) but not given and incomplete ordered delivered that too slower than the ordinary delivery speed.
