This is Debdatta Marik owner of a Suzuki Access *** from the day of **th August, ****. I bought it from my nearest dealer Rohini Suzuki, Baruipur, Kolkata, West Bengal. From the second month of using my new Suzuki vehicle I am facing a strange problem of continuous Gear Box oil spilling. As soon as I observed I went to the nearest Suzuki service center for the best resolution. Coincidentally it was my *nd servicing. They told me to change the oil seal and some other part. I did the same as they advised. But unfortunately after some days I realized that the problem remains the same. Then again I went to the Service Center and told them about the same problem. The expert engineer examined the issue and sealed the place by gum and told me that there was a slight gap which was a manufacturing defect and it will not reappear after this sealing. I was very happy as I thought my problem was solved. Then I went to Vizag from Kolkata by this scooty as I like to do long road trips. But alas! The problem remain persist.

Another unexpected sound problem was arising from my vehicle. A continuous cracking sound is coming while running the vehicle. Thus on last Saturday (**/**/****) I again went to the Baruipur Rohini Suzuki Service centre for Gear Box oil spilling and continuous sound issues. The engineers of the Suzuki Service center examined both the problems of my vehicle. Then they informed that the sound problem is coming out for a defect i.e scratch has been detected in the Pinion part inside the engine and my vehicle has to be open for servicing. Now it is known that usually scooties are maintenance free vehicle and for at least * years engines are not required to be open for any servicing purpose but in my case within * months it has to be open for its defect in the pinion part.

Anyways they kept my vehicle to resolve the oil spilling problem and after ** kms of test ride they told me that now my scooty is alright. In the evening I received it as they assured that the oil leakage has stopped but for the sound issue I have to submit my vehicle again on Tuesday morning i.e **.**.****. In the meantime the oil leakage problem has increased rather than before and now drops of oils are coming out from the Gear box.

My vehicle has been used with proper concern and it has not travelled too much distance then how can the Pinion which is the inner most part of the vehicle and the Gear box gets affected in such a short span of time. This is the *rd time when the oil seal and paper gasket seal has been changed but after all these changes the oil spilling problem remained unchanged. According to the telephonic conversation with Mr Avik Saha, Suzuki engineer conveyed me that it is not a manufacturing defect. But my question arises then what quality of material or parts has been given or used that within * months the vehicle is getting damaged? If innermost parts within the engine is nonfunctional or defective it cannot be done purposely by the owner or nobody wants to spoil his/her own product. Without misusing or any other issues how the pinion part and the gear box can gets damaged? Then we can assume that the problem arises due to manufacturing defect and after realizing now the Company's engineers are suppressing the actual fact.

Right now I am in a hopeless and frustrated situation. What is the usage of using a defective vehicle whose engine has to be open *th time within * months of purchasing?? I never expected this sort of product from a renowned company like Suzuki. Being a customer why should I be harassed like these?? Why proper resolution is not being given by the company?? Why should I use a defective product? The service center will temporary repair it and again I have to face the same problem. How many times I have to run to the service center and why should I waste my money and effort by using it? How can I use this defective vehicle kindly specify? If the company is unable to provide proper product or service to the customer then there will be no other option rather than applying my case to the Consumer forum. With lots of hope and trust in Suzuki I purchased it kindly give a positive resolution of my problem that how can I replace this defective product within my warranty period?
