I am writing to raise concerns regarding the ongoing undergrounding of overhead electric extension wires by UGVCL in our area, particularly near our society compound wall. The work, which involves digging roads and construction near our RCC structures, has already caused significant damage to the nearby infrastructure and the Narmada water pipeline.
The ongoing construction work has already led to the damage of the RCC road adjacent to our premises, as well as the disruption of the Narmada water pipeline. These damages have created immediate concerns about safety, environmental impact, and potential health hazards for the residents in the area. Furthermore, there is a risk that further damage may occur as the project progresses.
Given the ongoing damage and the potential for further harm, I kindly request that UGVCL provide a formal document that guarantees that after the completion of the project within the stipulated time, any damages caused to our property, including the compound wall, roads, and water pipelines, will be repaired and restored to their original state at no cost to the residents. This document should outline the scope of repairs, the timeline for completion, and confirmation that UGVCL will bear the full cost of restoring any infrastructure impacted by this work.
In the absence of such a commitment from UGVCL, I request that the ongoing work be immediately suspended until an agreement can be reached and the required documentation is provided. The safety and well-being of the residents must be prioritized, and we cannot allow further damage to our property without clear assurances from UGVCL.
I urge UGVCL to address this matter promptly and take the necessary steps to ensure that the project is carried out in a responsible manner that protects the residents and their property. I look forward to your swift response and the provision of the requested documentation.
