This is regarding Policy Number: ********; Application Number: *************; Plan: Hdfc SL ProGrowth Super II; eai Account Number: *************
This policy has been mis-sold to me by two agents at Hdfc Bank, Ellenabad Branch (on **/**/**** evening). They had also fraudulently filled incorrect details in the online form. On checking the details in the application form and terms & conditions associated with this policy, I had called the customer care service the very next morning to cancel the policy before it was issued. I was forcefully enrolled even after multiple on-call attempts (on **/**/**** morning) to request the cancellations. These attempts were made even before the policy was issued. Despite getting a confirmation from the customer care representative about the cancellation, the policy was issued. All my requests were carelessly ignored and I had no interest to get this policy issued legally, especially after my strong opposition interests in the same regard. I sincerely suspect some foul play of these agents in the issuance of the policy as they had guessed my intentions of cancelling this policy.
I am on a student visa in the US and have contacted nriservice@hdfclife.com, service@hdfclife.com, support@hdfclife.com, customerassist@hdfclife.com, customerconnect@hdfclife.com, nriservice customer call, toll-free customer call and all the other channels I could find. I got a reply from nriservice@hdfclife.com to email the documents for cancellation and have replied with all the required docs on Feb **, but have not got any reply from them since then. All they are doing is delaying the matter so as to disable me to cancel this policy in the free-look period. I have even complained to hdfc Life’s grievance redressal cell and IRDAI but all in vain. The experience with hdfc Life has been utterly frustrating and it has given me a lot of mental stress. In today’s email, I have included all the top authorities of hdfc Life and am waiting if they will bother to reply. I have contacted hdfc Life more than ** times since **/**/**** but it has made no difference.
