We had made the group booking for travel to Thailand dated **th April for * days for ** pax
The bookings were done on **st Jan, ****. We had only received our Hotel booking vouchers and Flight Tickets from Travel Agent and we were informed that rest of the bookings will be made one week prior to the travel date and the confirmation/ voucher will be provided for the same.
Against package cost of Rs ******/- ,We had made payment of Rs ****** /-.

Our instalment was due on **th March, ****. After discussion with Travel Agent, on **th March, **** we had requested to cancel the hotel bookings with NILL Cancellation looking at the Global scenario. And he had confirmed the same. (We were informed by the Travel Agent that our hotel bookings are ***% refundable till **th March,****)
Since, the time we have requested for hotel cancellation, we have not heard anything from their side regarding the refund till April **th, ****. Surprisingly, they started showing demand of Rs *****/- which was due on **th March, ****, despite the bookings were cancelled on March **th, **** & their travel agent had advised us to hold on to our *th instalment (Rs *****/-) as well.
So, the matter of less payment or partial payment does not arise, since the trip arrangements (except the tickets) were cancelled well in advance.
Further, it was informed to us that our full refund against the bookings will be given to us once the flight cancellation is also done.
The Travel Agent informed that credit shells would be given after deducting the cancellation charges , which we are actually not liable to pay as the hotel cancellation was done as per their team member’s suggestion and basis the global scenario and very much under the time span of free cancellation as told by the travel agent.
Airlines had cancelled all our flights on April *rd, ****, which we had to inform Travel Agent, so as to initiate the process of refund. The travel agent confirmed that Rs *,**,*** will be refunded by Thai Airways as credit shells.
We have been chasing Shoesonloose over mails, calls and messages regarding the refund since *th April,****. But, there has been no clear communication from them regarding the refund status. Moreover, they have stopped responding t our communications.
We have been tracking their website as well, and now they have pulled down the content from their website.
