Have been purchasing for all the sports items from Decathlon and it has been a great experience so far until the last Purchase made for a cleats Kipsta (viralto) on **-**-**** when purchased was informed it comes with a * year warranty and was never explained what the warranty would cover.The cashier name was Ritesh the store located in Dwarka sec ** to be precise Pinnacle mall. The purchase was the cleats with * balls and if a customer is informed the items comes with a * years warranty and if am not explained what the warranty covers it's unfair to me if i walk to the store and nobody wants to help i was getting a run around from the care takers of the store and it's unfair to me that when i go with the problems that am facing with the item's bought the representative is explaining what the warranty covers.Even the manager was refusing to help and said NO directly to a regular customer. And the best part is nobody seems to know what exactly they are doing after trying to communicate with the rep and single there was no assistance provided requested for a manager and the manager was playing defensive and pushing it on the representatives and left without even resolving or answering the Questions being asked it was embarassing for me .
Now that we went to the store they said that the warranty is for pasting. I don't think it's worth it to deal with their company after paying a good amount of money over **** on a cleats which broke down in the middle of the match which lead the team to lose and i could have been injured badly due to its imbalance who will take it's responsibility... It was a Nightmare for me,and i really don't think anyone would like to purchase an item over **** for half a Match. If you Look at the conditions of the cleats it is still fresh as new and the match was not even played in a hard ground it was being played in AG (artificial ground /i have prove on which date I played aswell) and after purchasing an item if a customer has not used it to the fullest yet and if the Studs is broken and studs is a part of sole and if am being told the warranty covers the pasting and the defects with sole then i have the full right to get a refund or replacement and if the cleats are used for just once or twice it should cover under manufacturing defect if it was used on a hard ground i wouldn't be complaining about it the cleats was only used in artificial grounds. And to be honest the thing which is not satisfying i have the experience of the people i play with have returned multiple items and over the year's never went to complain about anything it was the first time i reached out for help and the experience i got makes me feel like not to have business with the company. One customer might not affect their company (Decathalon) well reputed company but even a single customer matters because one will lead to another and that's how's business goes down. If i didn't get a resolution for this my friends and family members will not like it too. You can Look at the Condition of the item plus the tag is still on and receipt it still there ...and see it's not worth it to pay the amount which I paid for half a . Match and when i checked the cleats properly it's studs appears to be glued from the start it feels like i have been scammed by the store how pathetic.
And when i went to check their FAQ portal it showed that my email add. perhaps device has been blocked or suspended after mailing about my issue .
Talk about audacity .
At this point i don't even want my cleats to be replaced i want that my money should be refunded properly as it has caused a lot of inconvenience to me and it has badly affected my mental health as im a student
It was my hard saved money and it has cause disturbance in my training and matches
As i can't play with the broken cleats due to this i aslo missed my university football trials who will take the responsibility now .
With due respect i want my refund and compensation and an apology from th store for the trouble they have caused .
I even mailed to their customer support
They said that they'll let me know and try their best and will contact me when the issue is resolved , they left a short message saying "it is stores concern" hence the store will contact me now it's been * weeks straight not even a word is there
And when i tried to contact directly through phone they say the same and avoid listening to my concern and helping me
It has cause a lot of trouble
And my time is being wasted i need full refund plus compensation.
Hope it'll be resolved asap !!
