I placed an order online for a mobile phone on **-*-** for Rs. **,*** with a company called addmecart. I paid by paytm UPI after scanning a code on this company's website. But I did not get any email or sms acknowledgement from this company. My amount Rs. **,*** has been deducted from my account in HDFC bank. I am attaching receipt from my bank.
The phone number of this company is ********** (whatsapp) and their email is info@addmecart.com.
After I did not receive any SMS or email acknowledgement from this company, I read reviews about this company on the internet and found them to be all negative. This is when I realized that this company has cheated me. I immediately sent them a message on whatsapp asking them to cancel my order and refund my amount. They started making excuses. When I insisted on cancellation and refund and warned them of complaining about them to the authorities, they asked me to drop the email about cancellation and refund. I did so. I am attaching my email communication with them that includes a screenshot of my order placed on their website. I asked them on whatsapp - when would I get a refund and they have not answered. Instead, they started asking reasons about my order cancellation which I have already given to them. I am attaching my whatsapp chat with them.
I sent complaint via email on **-*-** to Delhi Police and Sh. Prem Nath, Addl. CP, Cyber Crime, Delhi. I also made a written complaint to The DCP (South East),
Sarita Vihar Police Station, New Delhi but the police has not responded
