Asian Yatra - Refund not received on cancelling the travel package

I paid a certain amount for a travel package which I was told can be cancelled by me at any point of time. I received the invoice for the same on * Oct, ****. Later I decided to cancel the package. My travel agent was unreachable by phone. I reached out to other representatives of company. The company agreed to it. But I never recieved the refund. They assured me that they've started the process. But they lied. They asked me to mail them the screenshots of payments. I did that. I sent these screenshots to their official whatsapp account also. But no refund was given to me. They said an employee (travel agents) in their company committed fraud wherein to increase sales he promised extravagant things, and that my travel agent was that employee. Later they said the company is being sold to someone else. They kept cooking up some reasons and since then it has been * months. No update on refund as of now.
