I paid the booking amount (on *nd Jan) and downpayment (on *th Jan) for Mahindra Thar to Himalayan Motors. I was told that the car is ready to be purchased. However, once I made the payment, the salers manager at Himalayan Motors informed me that the car has now been sold to another buyer and that a new car will be ordered for me. There was no information given about how long this may take. I expressed that the car loan offer from my bank to pay the remaining amount would expire in a week's time, after which I was told that the car will be made available to me in the next two days. This conversation happened on *th Jan. For the next * days, there was no response from the sales manager and I was kept waiting. Due to this lapse of communication and breach of trust, I have now requested Himalayan Motors to refund my amount. I was told that the amount will be credited back to my account within * days. However, it has been another one week, I am still waiting for the refund and now, my calls and emails are going unanswered.
