I got a call from CLUB HOLIZONE company executive who provided me the information regarding our selection for attending their event at Chopra Residency, Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh on * May, ****. They told me that being a Hyundai customer made you caught with this opportunity to connect with us. I along with my family went there and they opened up about their schemes related to vacations and traveling packages. I was really not interested into it but they forced me to pay **** rupees as an advance which they mentioned as 'refundable advance'. We paid the advance and told them we will think about it and will let you know if interested.
The very next day(* May,****) they called me that we're coming to your place. They came, I had a word with them regarding it and was not interested in the package at that time due to my personal reasons and told them that I will buy this package through emi but in September and not now. They agreed for the emi in September and asked me for my credit card to block the limit for emi in September. The credit card pin was unavailable at that point of time so my son told them that we have debit card with pre approved limit so you can block the limit using the debit card. They swiped the card and told me that it's done. I was not having my mobile at that time so after they took the leave I came back to my room and saw a message in my phone with the transaction of rupees *****/-. They cheated me and deducted the amount with false reasons. I immediately called him and he ensured me that the money will be refunded in the next ** hours.
After that he started misbehaving and shouting at me on the calls. And then he stopped receiving my calls and replying to my messages. In the very beginning they told me that if you would like to undo this package then it is refundable within ** days from the time period.
I mailed to their customer care and even called them thousand times but they told me that it is non-refundable and provided me with unsatisfied response to my concern regarding the refund.
Connecting to the customer care made me aware about the false vouchers and coupons included in the package that the executive of the company told us at the time of presenting their package to me just to lure me to buy the package. I tried to contact their customer care and their head of department for *-* months but nobody talked to me sincerely. Every time I called them, either they put my phone on hold or evaded my questions by saying that the concerned head of department is out of station.
At last, I seek help from consumer forum. The company reverted back to the consumer forum that they will refund the amount in ** days from the time period through the same mode of payment but they disposed off the complaint and it's been almost ** months from May'** to Mar'** and they haven't refunded my amount. Consumer forum advised me to take actions against them legally.
