Hi Team,
I have been invited by Karma resorts & hospitality to Poppy's hotel, Madurai on *th August **** & we were presented with the details of the holiday package booking by Mr.Shankar (+**-***** *****) & we proceeded to opt for the booking on the same day, as we were informed it was the best option to avail the special offers if booking was made on the same day itself.
But on *th August ****, we had to cancel the transaction due to financial issues with covid situation & mediacl conditions, hence we had follwed up with Mr.Shankar from Karma resorts to proceed with cancellation formalities, but this person has not initiated/forwarded my cancellation request further (which we realized after making a visit directly to the Chennai Kilpauk office in person). Since *th of August, we have been asking him to update on the cancellation status but all that he did was giving us false updates & fake promises by saying he has done all that he could from his side, but that his manager was out-of-station and hence the delay caused. We believed his words and waited patiently till *th August ****, but did not receive any proper response.
Further he had shared his manager's details, who also works at Chennai Kilpauk office, Mr.Annadurai (+**-***** *****), after speaking to whom last eve (**th Aug around *pm) we were again bluffed with so much false data where he promised to send us a mail stating that they have received a lumsum amount of Rs.***** from us & that cancellation/refund has been initiated for the same from their end, after us re-iterating that we wanted a mail confirmation multiple times. But he just kept wasting our time for almost *.* hrs on call by asking unnecessary questions like "why do you hold an iphone? why do you own a honda city car" & stuff. Post which, we did not get the intended mail from him as well. When we tried reaching out to him later, he stopped answering his calls. Rather he also complained with lame reasons that his mail box was full & that his network is poor to send mails etc, for the delay caused.
Today (**th Aug ****), we walked-in to the office directly located at Kilpauk, Chennai & met Ms.Hajitha, to whom we explained our case and the representative has clarified us that the cancellation wasn't initiated so far & that we have a hand-written letter addressed to the Manager of Karma Resorts & Hospitality where we have explained the issue & the letter has been sealed by the company. Attaching the letter herewith to this mail.
So kindly process my cancellation as per the information provided (cancellation as we were informed has been initiated today) & let me know when I would get my refund processed. Request you to do the same immediately considering the medical situation explained.
