St. Edmunds College - Refund not given

I was admitted to St. Edmunds, Shillong, in the BSc. programme on **th May **** but due to certain problems could continue my studies. So I asked for a refund from the school authorities on **th June ****. According to the UGC notification which came in super session on **th December ****, I am eligible to **% refund from the college which is included under section *(f) of UGC Act. But I was denied the refund citing that my date of admission has gone past the ** days refundable period. But the notification specifically states that the fees refundable up to ** days from the legally notified last day of admission which according to the college website is on *rd June ****. So they essentially violated UGC guidelines and swindled us out of our entitled money.
