I had placed an order for Lotus Bamboo Plant online through website https://plantila.in/ on ** March **** and paid Rs *** for the order.
After inordinate delay and multiple follow ups, I received the order on ** April **** but the product (plant) delivered to me was wrong plant and not the one which i had not ordered. To be specific I had ordered for LOTUS BAMBOO PLANT but i was delivered ORDINARY BAMBOO PLANT which is available at very cheap rates in the market. The pics of both the ordered plant and the delivered plant are attached for your reference.
Immediately on realising that the product delivered is wrong, I sent email to the entity at email@example.com on the same day i.e. ** April **** informing them of the wrong plant delivered to me and asked them to initiate a return pickup. I did not get any reply from the company. I again sent a reminder email to the company on ** April **** which was also not replied. Incidentally the customer support telephone line of the company ***- ******** mentioned in their website https://plantila.in/ is also not working.
I am a plant lover and i grow various types of plants at home. I can easily understand the difference between Lotus Bamboo plant and ordinary bamboo plant which the company has sent me. The pics attached are a proof of the same.
Further on repeated escalation the company called me and communicated vide email on ** April ****, wherein they accepted their mistake and apologised for the delivery of wrong product and assured me the delivery of correct product at the earliest.
However, on ** April ****, I received an email from the company saying that by marking email of my complaint to their industry peers, I have violated the company's Confidential Information policy. Further they said that they cannot provide any further assistance or solution until the investigation is completed, and the violation has been resolved. They said this will take around ** days.
I really don’t understand why customers who buy product from their online platform are bound by their internal confidential policy. Since they did not respond to my multiple mails, I marked the email to government officials and their industry peers. This was important to inform their competitors of the unfair practices being followed by Plantila.in and how their fool the customers and do not respond to customer complaints. I understand that I am free to mark anyone in my complaint email to the company and if the company has not don’t anything wrong then they need not fear this.
However, the company has been stubborn and adamant. Even after accepting their mistake of delivery wrong product and not responding to my repeated complaint emails (email dated ** April ****), they are not delivering me the right product or refunding me the amount. I request you to kindly take stern action against the company for cheating and ask them to refund me the amount of the order.
