Lokesh Singh filed complaint against ICICI Bank Limited on Mar 30, 2019
Today on **th March **** at **:** am I got a text message/notification from TM-ICICI as below.
Dear customer as requested mobile no. for credit card XX**** has been updated to mobile no. on **-MAR-**. If not requested by you please call customer care.
To my surprise, I have never requested a change in mobile no. and I don’t know whose number is updated by ICICI. This is a real blunder done by ICICI. As a customer and seeing a strange number I called ICICI customer care (Name - Rahul sits in Mumbai) to get this fixed and he explained the process of changing the mobile no. It has to be the owner who is supposed to visit the branch and fill the form and ask them to do the changes. And me the owner of the credit card have never visited any ICICI branch nor asked them to change the number. And as per Rahul’ customer care executive, I have requested it but then when asked for proofs he is unable to furnish the same. I feel there is something which ICICI has done or is its threat to my banking. Kindly looking into it and help resolve.
