- PBLifstyle scam Facebook Ad ^Closed

Amit filed this complaint against PBLifstyle on Apr 01, 2021

I had purchased an office chair worth ***.** from the PBLifestyle https://pblifestyle.myshopify.com/<the link does not work now>. The Ad showed up in Facebook on *st March ****.

When I wanted to check with the Customer Care after * month, I got a number ********** from the website which is also fake as I think the scammers only put in the below website.

When I called the number ********** for a refund. They will ask a SMS to send to ********** with a code starting with TRV XIA <somecharacters> to initiate the refund for the Product purchased from PBLifestyle. The TRV XIA was sent from the mobile number +** **********.

In the number ********** if the SMS is not send then they will provide another number ********** to send the TRV XIA SMS which would be valid only for a minute. After sending the SMS u will receive * SMS stating like Below:

"Dear Customer, registration for UPI has started for ICICI Bank. If it was not you, report to your bank. Do not share card details/OTP/CVV with anyone."

"Dear <Your Name>, You have successfully registered your UPI account on this device in Mi Pay."

Be aware guys, and dont fill any other form if they send via SMS which could ask you the PhonePE/Gpay pincode. The form SMS was sent from the mobile number **********.
