Raj Courier and Cargo Services Bopal Ahmedabad - package damaged and sent through wrong courier company by Franchisee

I wanted to courier show piece article which is of Ganesh idle gold plated on fine metal sheet and covered with the fiber glass casing, This is gifted by my friends in Surat and due to some reason I wanted to exchange this with some other idle, My friends visited that shop owner and taken approval for the exhange of the articles, I have courier it through Raj Courier and Cargo Services, which is at B ***, Sobo Center, South Bopal, Ahmedabad ******,, I have covered this article in bubble sheet of double layer and packed in hard cardboard box.The person incharge over there Mrs. Reshma Lakhani, checked the article and her person himself packed it well in front of me and Ms. Reshma also informed that this packing is okay it will not be damaged now, She informed me that the parcel will go through the DTDC and charged INR *** which seems high since weight of article is around ***-*** Gms only, since it was made from plastic and fiber glass, even though it seems to high cost of courier I paid considering their assurance that article will be delivered by DTDC safely. I couired the article on **th June **** (Saturday) from Ahmedabad to Surat, It delivered to Surat on **th June (Tuesday). I came to know that Mrs. Reshma Lakhani had informed me that she will use DTDC courier and sent it through Mahavir Express Service the local one whose chanrges are also very low for courier of such article that too from Ahmedabad to Surat only, when this parcel is opened by my friends family it was broken from the base of the casing and completely of no use. Now this article could not be exchanged.
I informed Mrs. Reshma Lakhani of RAJ Courier and Cargo Services about the issue, after trying one or two calls she informed damaged of goods is not our responsibility. In this case the total amount of the article which is INR **** is customer's loss, She given wrong information abour the courier company she is going to use, taken higher charges on name of DTDC and courier the goods with the local company. ultimately the amount spend by My friends is complete loss of them and mine.
I request you to kindly take action on this matter and help to get the claim from Raj Courier and Cargo Services, Ahmedabad.
