Good Samaritan Hospital - Overinflated charges and no detailed bill for Covid treatment
Anshu De filed complaint against Good Samaritan Hospital on May 18, 2021
Was admitted to Good Samaritan Hospital on **th April due to Covid complications and released on *th May. The total bill for the treatment was Rs. ******. In spite of several requests there was no detail bill or Investigation Reports with their bills and Prescription of doctor with their chemist bills. A hand written discharge certificate was provided during the discharge. After release, we tried calling up the hospital for the required papers several times and also called up the reception clerk mobile ********** (Santu Tripathi) many times each day. But there was no response on the hospital numbers or the mobile numbers. Even tried to approach the hospital in person, but was asked to come after few days as there was no staff to provide the detailed documents.
Without the proper documentation, it cannot be submitted with the insurance service provider. Even after having coverage in Mediclaim, I am unable to submit the documents to the insurance service provider
