Abhishek Leonard filed complaint against Chinmaya Mission Hospital on May 31, 2018
Chinmaya has changed their rules wherein they do not allow male attenders for female patients in general and semi-private wards. Hence, I was forced to take a private ward. Please note, in my family, it's just me and my mother, my father passed away in July ****.
The bill came up to ***** which is too much for a kidney stone endoscopy. I had roughly around ***** left in my insurance since the remaining was used up when my father was serious. Hence, I requested the hospital RMO and he, instead of considering the request by listening carefully, had the cheek to talk nonsense (I have recorded the video, but unable to upload here). The RMO said, since you can afford to spend on private ward, you can afford to have a help take care of your mom, you are rich. My question here is, does he know my situation? Despite me telling that I am the only earning member, he talks all this rubbish and who on Earth told I could afford a private ward? I was forced to because of their weird rule I mentioned above. I asked for a discount so that insurance could cover the whole thing, but instead of trying to understand the situation, he spoke this nonsense. Such disgusting people can only ruin our society.
I am very pleased with Voxya. They helped me resolve my issue without much hassle. Very impressed and satisfied.

My two years of blood & sweat got valued finally with Voxya. I got a full refund with no hustle after they received notice.
