I have purchased a pre-owned in February **** car from carslive located in JP nagar *th phase, the pre-owned car was certified and has been given a warranty on engine clutch and gearbox for a period of * year or **,*** km from Dr. Wheelz after * days I faced electrical issue in the car which when informed to Dr.Wheelz they have inspected and did a temporary fix for which they mentioned warranty cannot be claimed and I was charged for the same, just after a month I noticed oil leakage in the engine and notified the same to Dr.Wheelz this time also I heard the same excuse stating it cannot be claimed under warranty because of which I got this fixed from the different workshop, a week ago I faced an issue with my Gear shifting and when reached out to Dr Wheelz, they sent a technician for inspection and after inspection when they got to know the gear cable is been damaged I have been told that this also cannot be claimed under warranty. Whereas the terms and conditions on their warranty card clearly say any “GEARBOX WARRANTY COVERS ONLY THE GEARS” gear cable is part of Gears when I questioned them on this, I have been told it is miscommunication from their end and the same will be changed under the terms and conditions, but the damage has been done and now they are refusing to claim the warranty instead I have been informed I can get compensation in labour charges.
The first thing how can a certified car with a certified sticker from Dr Wheelz comes up with so many issues. Second, if the terms and conditions are not stated properly on the warranty card how can it be a customer’s problem? To my surprise, the Marketing head is not even bothered to revert to my questions
