Ola Cabs Indore
- Ola overcharged me Open
RITWIJ JAIN filed this complaint against Ola Cabs Indore on Oct 03, 2020
Hi team,
I took an Ola ride on ** Sep from Devi Ahilya International Airport (Indore) to my home address which is ** kms away. The estimated fare at the time of booking was INR *** (after applying the coupon code).
Upon dropping, the invoice generated was surprisingly INR *** and invoice showed that I travelled ** kms in ** mins. Also, the drop location was captured incorrectly as Dakasya Sital which is very far away from my home location and moreover I have not travelled to. Not sure why the location was shown incorrectly when I did not even manually change it which Ola alleged me that I changed it manually. If I would have changed the location manually, the driver would also have gotten a prompt that location has been changed and then I would have been dropped at a different location than my home address - my actual destination. Driver also confirmed to me that he did not get any location change notification and hence I was dropped correctly at my home. As spoken to support executive over the phone, it appeared to be an issue with driver's device. But Ola does not confirm this over email.
Hence, there has been a system glitch due to which the drop address on invoice was captured incorrectly and I have been overcharged for ** kms instead of ** kms.
I have requested Ola to investigate and explain to me how did they overcharged me
I am attaching the screenshot of invoice when I sought and support on Ola App on same day and contacted their support team on twitter handle for your reference. They first wasted weeks ignoring my grievance and then they said they cannot refund because it was more than ** hrs.
This has left me mentally frustated and totally disappointed.
