- Ola doubled my ride rate and the Ola driver rated himself 5 stars by taking customer phone Open
I booked Ola cab on ** June **** around *:** pm from Maheswari Nagar, B Narayanapura Bengaluru to Passport Office Koramangala. The cab came around *:** pm Ola Prime Play, Dzire Tour KA**AG**** and started the trip by *:** pm. The estimated cost of my ride is *** rupees and the total cost after ride comes to *** rupees. I have been taking a ride between these two locations and I know the road well. Around * pm or * pm, It is ** mins ride **km approx. But after ride Kilometers shows **.* km took ** mins. As soon as I reached my destination around *:** pm, the driver told me to open the Ola app and he grabbed my phone. I don't know what he was doing with my phone at the time but now I realized he is doing the customer rating pops up right after every ride ends. He gave himself * stars rating. After he gave my phone back, he asked me for *** rupees. I denied at first because I can not believe that because they have doubled the price. I looked at my phone to reconfirm the price but it's all gone. I don't even have an option to give my ride rating at this point. And so I paid. I got home frustrated, took a little digging on the Ola app. Found my last ride from 'your ride' option. I still can not believe he gave himself * stars. I tried a couple of times to report my problem, every time I try to report it says 'server cannot be connected with a sad face on it. At one point it says request no accepted.
This must be some kind of fraud going on in the city. The driver took me to the unnecessary road and he is not polite, rated * stars himself. This guy has *.* ratings, now I know where that *.* came from. If you look at the map the road he took you will understand better. Very serious action should be taken on this kind of driver. And I'm expecting a refund. Customer ride number: CRN**********
