I requested for On-Road assistance from Tata Motors for my vehicle which indicated temperature and radiator fan running, though car is off. They asked me to pay Rs. ***/- for the technician to visit, diagnose and repair minor problems. However they were interested in collecting the car on Tow basis at Rs. *,***/-. I denied the requirement of any major repair. The car was on road-side where my wife was waiting for *.* hrs. The apparent Technician came and started the car. (We had not tried it because of continuous alarm and alerts) . Although the complaint was about Temperature indication, Fan not stopping etc., he did not check coolant, oil, nothing! He simply said it is indicating petrol (whereas it was showing **kms running status) and asked to fill petrol. Going by his words, the car was re-fueled in less than */*km distance and then stopped again. When called the customer care toll-free number they could not even think that it is a repeat problem involving an unhappy customer. They told me to pay Rs. ***/- again to assign the technician which was nothing but a joke. The customer service even disconnected the call. The technician as such stopped answering the calls.
