New India Assurance - Non receipt of household claim

I have a household policy at New India Assurance Company Chittur, Palakkad branch. My policy number is ********************. Yearly premium is ****. On **.**.**** my Godrej air conditioner outdoor unit compressor failed. I informed the branch by land phone number ***** ******. The insurance surveyor visited my house and tell me to get down the outdoor unit. I called the mechanic and got it down. The insurance surveyor again instructed me to open the outdoor unit to see the compressor. I called the mechanic again and opened the unit. The surveyor instructed me to get the quotation for the repair. I submitted the quotation for Rs. ****. Later he instructed me to repair the same. I repaired the Godrej outdoor unit of the A/C and submitted the original bill for Rs.***** (including GST), photo of the old compressor and bank account details on **.**.****. After a week later I telephoned the surveyor. That time I came to realize that I will not be going to get any claim from the company. He is asking for another bill. He is asking compressor bill from the manufacturer. I really spent three or four days for the formalities. Now I am clear that it is really waste for repairing the old A/C and doing these formalities and spending four days.
