I bought the Asus ROG Phone * from Flipkart on *rd of October and received the phone on **nd of October **** but the phone's Wi-Fi stopped working after * month and ** days of usage which seems to be a common issue with the ROG Phone * due to manufacturing defects.
I had contacted Asus and they requested that I send my phone to the service center for repair and they had to replace the motherboard on a * month old device and now the phone have different IMEI Numbers which reduces the resale value of the phone.
It took them ** days to repair the phone and since the Wi-Fi and hardware issue is a recurring issue with the ROG Phone * I had requested them for refund as I don't want to deal with having to send the phone to the service center all the time but they declined the refund and refused to even give me a replacement for my * month old device.
Asus also started reducing the performance of the phone and doesn't perform as good as when I first bought it which felt like Asus had scammed us.
Fast forward, I had recently sent my phone for repair to the service center to replace the back panel since it was broken, on **th March. They lied to me that it will be repaired within a week but when I called them they keep delaying until next week and keeps making excuses they are having parts shortage etc and this went on for many weeks and every time I call them I will get it by next Monday, Tuesday, etc but never gets repaired when I call them, and after waiting for more than * month they finally repaired my phone but the service center person dropped and broke the phone.
I had asked them for replacement/refund since they dropped the phone which could cause serious problems in the future due to the impact to the internal parts of the phone but they declined to give me replacement or refund. And after waiting for * months I finally got my phone but the phone has a scratch on the metal part of the phone now which looks like its been cut with a sharp object and removed the paint and I can see the silver coloured metal on the metal part of the phone and also the Camera Flash light LED seems to be missing the light guide/scatter/spreader of some sort from the phone and now the Camera Flash is not very effective and doesn't work properly anymore and I can see the LED Bulb visible from the outside now which make the phone looks weird.
* months had already passed since I bought the phone but I only got to use the phone for only * and a half months and all the other time it was spending time in the service center. I cannot deal with another * or * weeks to repair the phone when I only got the phone * days ago and now I have to send it back and with all the scratches and problems of the phone on a new and * and a half month used phone, the condition of the phone is not acceptable and not to mention the service center dropped and broke the phone.
They have already wasted enough of my time, I am requesting for a full refund please.
I have to live without my phone for * months and it will take another * or * weeks if I send the phone for repair. I just want a proper working phone which the ROG Phone * has failed to provide/deliver.
I had already tried filing a complaint on Consumer Helpline and they got Asus to reply and look into my issue but they still won't give me a refund/replacement.
I feel very frustrated after having to deal with such a horrible service and feel stressed all the time. I cannot handle another issue with this phone and I don't have the metal capacity to handle it anymore. I am mentally tired and exhausted.
I just want my refund now. Thank You!
