Medicover Woman Child Hospital
- Mis behavior of Medicover staff on pregnant women Open
Sharath Karthikeya filed this complaint against Medicover Woman Child Hospital on Oct 09, 2024
My pregnant wife and I visited the hospital emergency on a possible miscarriage situation, this was an emergency and needed * injections to control the bleeding and sustain the pregnancy, the situation in the emergency was horrible, people were screaming doctors were fighting with each other in front of pregnant women.
Specifically, my wife needed * urgent injections and they put the canola, we waited one hour and the canola was not working as they initiated but forgot to start it, and the bleeding continued, and we raised this with the duty doctor who was on phone attending her personal calls all this while and not at all responsive, when we raised it, the duty doctor (named Ramya) started shouting at us, when I asked help as this looked like an emergency, I asked her to attend to my wife as this doctor was free and talking on phone all the time instead of attending patients, I kindly requested her not to raise the voice as it’s the hospital, Looked like she has got anger management issues, I couldn’t control my self and said, you cannot behave like this in a hospital.
She then says I won’t do your scan, if miscarriage happens let it happen, she removed the canola plucked the needle causing bleeding to my wife pregnant wife was in tears and requested her to stop shouting and screaming and she says you go to other hospital and we won’t serve you here, especially after paying the bill, we then moved on to a different hospital where everything went smooth. I almost made my mind to sue the hospital, but I want to reach out to sensible people (if any) before going ahead with a lawsuit.
