Kanchipuram Perumal Silks Rajahmundry
- Low Quality Old Stock Saree Was Sold Open
A saree worth of INR **,***/- was bought from Kanchipuram perumal silks in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh on Sep-** ****.
With one single use the threads are coming out from the blouse & there are wrinkles all around the saree, eventually the threads will come out of the saree as well. It is not the case with any of the saree that I have bought from the other merchants.
We have visited the store on Nov-* **** to complain about the damaged blouse & saree. We have informed them upfront that there is no bill for the purchase & we have transaction proof from my credit card for this purchase. Below are the sequence of things happened at the store.
*) They have agreed to pay ****/- for the damaged blouse initially & after some discussion they have revised to pay ****/-.
*) We have not accepted the compensation & we have requested for a quality check from the *rd party.
*) They agreed to send the product back to the weaver for a quality check & requested for * months of time with no credit guarantee for us.
*) The staff in the store colluded & started asking for the original bill to send this product for the quality check. We have informed them at the very begininning that we don't have the bill but only the transaction proof.
*) The staff started making unruly comments on my mother about the stiching of the blouse.
*) In an arrogant manner the staff told us to do whatever we wanted to but they cannot do anything.
The way they treated the customer was not at all acceptable. They were clearly aware that the product is damaged & they started looking for execuses asking for the bill.
We have the transaction proof from the credit card from which they can easily pull the product details from their billing systems but they said they will have the bills only for the last month this is also a false information.
