Went with a contract for Interiors work by Fabdiz team in Bangalore. Quote they gave me was almost upto **Lakh. Let me summarize some of the situations where they made me literally under the mercy of them.
- After paying initial **K advance for design to start, designer has changed in between and there was zero co-ordination between new and old designer. Lot of important aspects which old designer made notes in their language did not reach new designer and we saw that results later during execution.
- Contract was to finish work by ** to ** days after the design approval. However it has taken more than ** days so far (Excluding the ** days for which work did not start as I had to make them wait due to builder did not complete on time for covid time reasons).
- Had paid upto **% of initial quote as per their contract agreement to start the work. However many of the items which they quoted could not be installed due to invalid or missing measurements and they asked us for alternatives.
- Forced me to pay last **% PDC without completing the design reviews from them. Even though their contract clearly mentions that after design team verification, issue **% PDC. They agreed its a flaw in their system and forced me to pay as they cannot move ahead without money.
- Lot of things had to be removed from my initial quote as they could not install it properly. Ideally i had paid almost upto ***% payment.
- Did ask just * small modifications for which they clearly quoted ***% money before start of work and I ended up paying **% to start some work. But they did not start until I pay all ***% amount. As per their email and contract, it was supposed to get over by one week and they took ** days with very bad quality of work.
- Interior project execution engineer was doing all kind of jugaad work at site. Getting some carpentary work from Electrician. Electrician was a temporary new electrician who was not skilled.
- Many of the design items they could not install and asked me to procure and later they will help to install.
- Lot of bad quality work at the end and they did not understand the sequence of work like what gas piping, chimney..etc. They made us so many re-work and additional money.
- Pooja unit they did not install in the right position and left in a hurry which was crucial for my painting work to start
- Engineer complained saying wall is not good, ceiling is not good..etc stating they cannot fix properly. This is a *** flat apartment and lot of people have done interiors and moved in.
- For every issue which we inform, it was told to check during final deep cleaning and they dont have carpenters to fix now.
- Painting is blocked because of all these minor issues and they are not responding
- Tried reaching their design head, CEO of the company. But unfortunately nobody is responding and I am under their mercy now.
