Max Super Speciality Hospital Saket - Kanta Garg Death due to medical Negligence

With profound grief I would like to inform my mother declared dead by Max Saket on **th Nov. ****. My mother admitted to max Saket for minor surgeries of parastomal hernia and cholecystectomy ( Gall Bladder Removal) on **th Aug ****. Due to surgical blunders by hospital , my mother small intestines' cut down by hospital. No consent of family and patient taken while cutting down vital organ small intestine of Kanta ji and that is primary reason of death. She suffered ** days up to **th Nov and underwent * surgeries during her stay in Max hospital. Initial estimate was *.** lakh and total Hospital bill amount is approx. ** lakhs + other expenses of family stay in Delhi (Approx. *.* lakh) + few medicines and Wound care bag cost managed by the patient family(Approx. * lakh).

Family is totally mentally distressed and suffered lots during her stay in hospital. My mother suffered lots of unbearable pain and mental harassments during her long stay in Hospital ICU and ward. Even no proper wound care management provided by hospital due to lack of proper wound care staff and that further worsens her situation.
Large wound opened in her stomach due to surgical blunders and that cause lots of unbearable pain to her day and night. Whatever she ate ** to **% output was going into wound care bag and that bag was very costly and works only for *-* days. With lack of adequate staff to replace wound care bag in case of leakage that further worsens her situation. Sometimes it took more than ** to ** hours to replace bag after leakage and that worsen her situation with fevers and infections.

My father is shocked and depressed and lost her hard earned money and dignity. Now he has dependency on others to carry out his day to day work.

Kanta ji life ended forcefully by Max health care by doing surgical blunders and further aggravated with lack of proper care and finally she died on **th Nov after *th surgery on **th Nov. Dr. Subhash Gupta and team keep promising us they will revive the Kanta ji and all the surgical mistakes will be corrected with proper treatment but her situation worsen with each passing day and unbearable pain. She came to hospital on feet and was good and I have attached hospital reports of her condition on day of admission. All the treatments by hospital not only weakens us mentally but also drained us financially. Her unbearable cries with pain still keep coming in our memories and no one have given authority to hospital to end my mother life.
