Hi. I had a Jio prepaid simcard with mobile number **********. This number was allocated to me in **** in Goa region. I stopped using it for a while due to very poor coverage at my Goa residence.Then I moved to Gurgaon. As i needed this number for personal use in Gurgaon, I recharged this number using google pay. First I verified the network- All * bars of network was visible. So i recharged with amount *** using google pay. After recharge, I was not able to use the number, so I went to Jio customer care. They said- This number has been assigned to someone else in Feb'**. I was shocked, as I never received any notification on my alternative number (**********) which I provided during purchase of JIO number. I requesred Google pay to reverse the amount- they denied. I requested JIO to atleast transfer this amount to my newly purchased JIO number, as this is my money- they also refused. I called the new user of this number, she also is avoiding any conversation when I requested for money transfer.

The request would be- Either user transfers Rs *** to my upi id or Jio/ Google pay revrses the same. Its not that I have recharge a wrong account, i have recharged to correct numbrr only, but jio assigned it to soneone else with notifying me. I do have messages where Jio used to send me notifications to recharge or deactivation ( for oldest numbrr), but this time it was not the case.
