- Jaguar commode malfunction Open
We bought a Jaguar commode (WC Jaq- *****SSM) as part of bathroom renovation in April **** along with a range of other jaguar bathroom accessories with a unit price of INR ***** from an Authorized Jaguar centre Peekay bath gallery, Edapally, Kerala. (Invoice no: BG***, dated **/April/****). It had a defective siphon system for the flush tank and most of the times water level rises in the commode along with excreta. It was alerted to the company service centre on **th December ****. The service team from Local provider (Elamakkara) came and inspected the product and went back promising to return with a senior technician. After ** days with no response, the team was again contacted through toll free center. All these days the bathroom of our master bedroom was kept closed. To my surprise and anguish I came to know that the local service centre with out resolving it and not even getting back has closed the registered complant. After much effort the team visited again on **/*/**** and registered a fresh complaint. This time they were convinced that the product is faulty and reassured that it will be replaced. While inspecting the product they removed the seal from the base of the commode and it started stinking from the next day. With agony and despair we had to move out from the master bed room to the only available bed room which was our kids room and kept the room closed to avoid smell in the dining and living rooms. We kept calling the local Co-ordinator of the service centre in Elamakkara and every time the reply was that the Area service Head (Mr Praveen) is handling the file and we will soon hear from him. Every day out of frustration and mental agaony I had to call the cordinator for any good news but that never happened. I am a busy pediatrician who takes care of pediatric critical care and the time, effort and agony I was going through all these days were uncomparable. We the whole family with my kid and parents had to take queue and wait for our turns to use the only available bathroom every day for * month. The toll on the family life and my job, which requires extreme precision and decision-making, was insurmountable. I again contacted the Jaquar toll free center and expressed my dissappointment on **/*/****. All these phone calls were during my working hours as the toll free is also open during these timings. They connected my call to one person who introduced as the head of jaguar corporate office in kochi and assured me that I will be getting a reply in ** minutes, but nothing happened.After days of phone calls and torture finally they agreed for a product replacement and informed me that i can contact the vendor who sold the product originally. When i contacted the vendor(Peekay bath gallery), they informed me that the same product is out of stock and i will have to wait till it comes. Till today Feb *, **** my problem is not solved
