Hi Mr. Imran,
I am writing this mail with regards to the complimentary hotel booking post my wedding reception at your hotel De Grandeur on the **th November (*st floor Orchid Hall).
Although everything was well managed by Urfi prior to the event date, I would like to highlight the shocking, disappointing and unacceptable events we faced at your hotel on **th Nov.
Although Urfi had given an email confirmation on the complementary HB a month before, on **th Nov, when I called to confirm my room # in the afternoon, I was shocked to hear that Urfi forgot to book the room and he said the hotel was fully booked. We were so terribly stressed, upset and shocked as we needed the room for me and my wife to do our make up before the reception
Initially Urfi promised for temporary room to be used and later for the night he will book us in Vihang, to which I agreed. After an hour, Urfi called saying he has confirmed the same room (room # *** in DE Grandeur) for the night stay as well.
How can someone forget a hotel booking, especially knowing it's a wedding reception night and how important the room is for the bride and groom??? ABSOLUTELY UNPROFESSIONAL
The shocking incident took place while me and my wife was sleeping after a tiring reception and someone knocked at the door at *.**am. We hesitated to open the door as we thought someone was drunk and knocking by mistake. Later we opened and realized it was your hotel staff who told me this room was for another client and I need to check out as i dont have any booking. To my surprise he even brought the client to my room. I told him Urfi confirmed this room for us but he kept saying he was not informed. I told him even if its not booked for me, why didnt anyone ask us to checkout much earlier and not at *.**am, but he said, he did not know what to do so he came to my room with the client. HORRIBLE ISN’T IT.
Mr Imran, would you have tolerated someone asking you to checkout of the room at *.**am? that too A NEWLY WEDDED COUPLE!! WHAT A HORRIBLE NIGHTMARE. Is this your hotel policy and standard ????? OMG.
Imagine this happened to me on my *st wedding night.......ME AND MY WIFE WERE SO DISTURBED THAT WE WANTED TO CALL POLICE AND REPORT THIS.
Mr Imran, I was quite polite the next morning when I approached Urfi and only asked for your mobile no. as another wedding was going on and I didn't wanna create a scene.
*rd INCIDENT :
After all the discussions we had with you prior to finalizing the menu and adding Mutton dish to the main course, I feel so disheartened to inform you that, although the dish tasted nice, all the guest kept complaining that there were hardly any mutton pieces in the curry.
Knowing that most of the guests would opt for mutton, we really expected a good serving in your buffet, considering we agreed to pay Rs *** / plate just for mutton main course.
It is soo disappointing and shameful when guests come upto you on stage, wish and later complain that there was no mutton pieces but only curry that too when the total guests list was about *** and we paid Rs.*** per plate for *** guests.
*TH Incident :
I did not mention about the serving cakes that went missing the next day when I came to collect the wine and cake, which off course, will be a highlight to consumer court, to view the CCTV footage.
Let me know in what way you can compensate me for the horrible experience I faced for my wedding.
I am still in a state of shock that a reputed hotel like yours can do such things. UNIMAGINABLE.
I would like to know why shouldn't I post this on social media, newspapers and also on weddingz.com?? If I do not hear from you, I surely will do so. Trust me
