Very disappointed with Goibibo.I had booked a flight from banglore to italy on the *th of March from there website and was faced with a lot of troubles.I was stranded in the sharjah airport for almost a day because of your carelessness, I seriously felt angry to myself as I had booked tickets of my travel Goibibo.
I reached the sharjah airport on the *th of March at **:** and when I went into collect my boarding passes I was informed by the officers that the flight was announced cancelled about *,* days ago and I could not travel to Istanbul or to italy in any chance and only the travel agency could do anything . Actuallywhen I checked the airline website they had informed that the flights wont be there from *st march which was posted on **th February this was the date I had booked my ticket for the whole trip. And after all this I firstly contacted you people through your customer service number and no one answered my call and the one time someone picked up some guy talked something else and put the phone down. I was traveling alone and I had no idea about what I sould do next. I understood that depending on these guys was a waste of time so I looked for the nxt flight available and the only one was on the *th of March at *:** .So you can understand from **:**,I had been in the sharjah airport without a place to even sit. I know how Coronavirus has affected a lot of flights to get canceled but its your responsibility to let me know .I booked it from this agency with trust and nothing was shown back.
As my flight was at *:** I planned to get a bit sleep and stayed at the sharjah transit hotel till * am which costed me ***AED and I boarded my flight back to banglore.
I need refund for all those costs that this flight booking had costed me. This is not the way a customer should be treated and even though Im a frequent customer. A total of ***** Rs was the cost of the whole trip and even after writing a mail and talking with the customer executives several times Goibibo only refunded ***** which is not even half of the money spent.
My reason for asking more refund is that the airlines had canceled all trips earlier and Goibibo showed that the flight was on time which was the main reason I started my trip
